BO Badges

I still can't re-award all the BO badges as they are not in the badge list.
I remember it was troublesome to get them up in the 1st place, so this isn't a nag.
Just letting you know in case you didn't:)

Oh, and I forgot to mention that all BO admins cannot access TS BO admin channel

Badges need setting up in ACP Award manager, script needs editing to match, which sorts the automated permissions handling, which grants the section access. We'll get there shortly....

Where did Igor go...? Someone pull the lever!

It's going to be Thursday night before I can get the scripts for the Black Ops badge - forum access sorted. I'm not touching those scripts this late at night or I'll mess them up. We can still add badges manually and add user group permissions at the same time. The script just automates two jobs that can be done by an admin. If people need specific forum access just shout as I'm happy to do that anytime.

I was wrong about the badges. They were on the server but had not been added into the award manager. I've now added them back in so they can be awarded. However the scripts still need doing. I'd have to rush it if I was going to do them tonight (going out) So I'll fix the scripts tomorrow. That should auto add anyone with a red badge to the Black Ops admin group.

One thing I forgot though. How do we want to set this up? I know we discussed this before but I'm drawing a blank. Do we want a whole new user group for Black Ops admins and a separate admin forum for them or do we want to have a combined COD and COD: Black Ops usergroup with both admins having access to just the existing COD admin forum?

No problem I'll make the script work so that either red badge (CoD4 or CoD:Black Ops) ads the user to the CoD admin group and in turn give them access to the admin forum.

Tell me what badge needs assigning to what usergroup and I can tweak the scripts for you. However, assuming they were done before then in theory, they should work as the new created awards and usergroups 'should' have the same ID numbers (unless they were created in a different order!)

No idea about the order number for the scripts. I just picked free numbers and moved one badge to slot in the BO green badge. Also the BO Admin user group needs creating and I don't know what order number that one had either. I guess it would be easier to amend the script than to move the badges and groups?

Ahh ok, so groups still need creating. Yes, it would be easier to ammend the scripts. As it's group work, I'll leave it in your capable hands as you know what group permissions go where for them.
