On the topic on Maelstrom Crystals:
I've noticed that on the horde side the Maelstrom Crystal tend to be cheaper. I've seen differences from 200 to 1000g per crystal.
I'm happy to help anyone who wants to buy some on the horde side and transport them through the neutral AH for guild use.

someone was selling 6 for 8k, I asked to buy them but got no reply from the seller
