LAN Games - Discussion Thread

Hi Folks,

The games committee has finalised the list of potential games to be played at the LAN.

This thread is for dicussing the games. I've set up a poll thread for folks to vote on. From the votes, we'll set out on putting together a few compettitions and for those of you that haven't been to the LAN before we'll be working out the prizes for these comps at the same time.

The games list to discuss and consider is:

Arma 2 OA (LAN Server)
CoD 4 (LAN Server)
L4D 1/2 (LAN Server)
CS:S Deagle Match (LAN Server)
CS:Source (LAN Server)
NFS: Shift Flying Lap (Projector)
Live For Speed
Unreal Tournament 3 / Quake 3 (LAN Server)
Battlefield 2 (LAN Server)
Breach
Soldat (LAN Server)
NFS:Split Second (LAN Server)
Dogfighter (LAN Server)
NFS: Shift 2

There are no RTS games in the game list? AoE or Red Alert 2 etc might be a laugh at the LAN.

Also what's happening a bout turn based games/role-playing games such as D&D etc?

Drunken we dont run, RTS as a supported games due length of time, but there will be some down time before and after the comps, so if you can find some people to play rock on.  Some of Ghosty crew play AoE I am sure they will be more than happy to give you a game.

The same with D&D this is still very new and no one suggested, but we do only have a weekend and Sat is going to be pretty full.
