Evolution test anyone.

I know its originally from arma 1 but i found a version of evolution for arma 2 from the GITS clan here http://arma2.filefront.com/file/GITS_Evolution;109619
Some of it looked carrier based which could be fun and there are some screens here http://arma2.filefront.com/screenshots/File/109619/6
I find it a bit more vehicle/aircraft based which some will prefer and your skills increase on rank points ie being at location when the tower gets blown [towers being blown where have we heard that before?].
Now in case it being arma 2 and not OA has put you off i even found a link to a forum post on an OA version,further into the forum post is one with a lot less mods, http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=107828
Let me know what you think guys i find it more fun some ways and in others not [you cant beat a bombing run with a target set from your commander in a c130 with carpet bomb capsules for a change].

Sure but i only have OA at the moment and i dont know about anyone else, I always prefer maps where you have to use aircraft to transport troops and i would like to see more uses for them other than just transport, bombing runs are just too fun!

Interesting find,we were running Arma 2 but when OA came out more refined we shut it to build our OA server.  

We can have a look at the OA stuff but I think we need to lock down domination coms and doing more than one part of the mission.

Update all there is an add on free version of evolution for OA almost! The pack contains a takistan evolution and 7 other islands to to run evolution on http://109.70.148.244/gits/Arma/GITSEvomissionpack_OA3.zip running just the takistan version of evolution would give you an add on free version of it.
Totally agree on doing more than one mission at a time but i think this may require a full time server [persistent] and then for variation/testing/ranking evolution and domination would need to be compared.

Just in case anyone needed to test evolution this map pack has all the islands no addons required,its almost domination but very different,points are tweakable etc etc,quite polished product,if your into gadgets/aircraft its cool,im more of a cqb minimalist follow this link http://109.70.148.244/gits/Arma/GITSEvomissionpack_OA3.zip
