I bought a Fein Multimaster tool last week, and have been kicking myself for not buying one years ago.
This is the kit I bought

It's an oscillating saw with many attachments for all sorts of jobs.
I've been cutting mortice and tenon joints with it this weekend, also used it to take apart a glazed panelled door without breaking any glass. Flush-cut dead pipes and sanded saw burns out of my new window frames.

I'm mightily impressed and would recommend it to anyone who's planning to do any DIY. (Whitey)
here's a cheesy american video that shows it in action.
It's not cheap at about £170, but I reckon it'll pay for itself in time saved.
I got the 240v version, you can get 110v or cordless (although I've heard cordless is disappointing compared to corded)

Sssh. I'm still mopping up here.....

It does look an interesting gadget, but I'm wondering how much damage I could do to the home infrastructure if I were to wield on.  I think my family is safer without me having one!

Really nice bit of kit there. Looks like it should be used in an operating theatre for surgery!

I want one =(

Tutonic

Swoon.

I expect Blunt to show up for LAN XX with an uber, custom engineered and beautifully constructed PC case now. No excuses!
