Guys,

Tonight on the TS Channel GhostMjr acted very disrpectful and agressive towards me.

I believe his reasons may be to do with two things:

1. Me replacing him as Game Leader for BC2 - I believe he is still sore about that.
2. More recently, I gave him a formal reminder of the Server Rules following on from the Valdeko incident. Everyone as you know, that was on the server at the time was given the exact same reminder. I stress reminder as it was not a warning.

His response was quite arrogant imho:

"At no point was I in the wrong.

I was defending and couldn't use a chopper!

I therefore do not need " a formal reminder " "

I reminded him of the fact that all registered members that were on the server that evening received the same reminder. I stated that if he had an issue he should play elsewhere or seek council from the Clan Leaders.

I wasn't expecting his arrogance and rudeness tonight however.

Let me know your thoughts but if he comes on bad mouthing the admins or myself please post it here.

Thanks,

NF

NF acted correctly in issuing the reminder about the rules to those on the server at the time.  The only thing I would add is this:

If someone does not feel they were involved, then they are entitled to feel slightly aggrieved at receiving a formal reminder of the rules, particularly if they are an admin themselves and a long-standing member.
At the same time, GM is adult enough to realise that he needs to let any frustrations subside and to move on.  I've also told him this directly in a PM.

Clearly there is history here between NF & GM, so we need to make sure we act sensibly and fairly here which I believe we have so far.  However what Penfold and I would not like to see is any kind of witch hunt going on against GM.  So whilst we recognise the call for BC2 game admins to be vigilant, let's keep it in context please and treat him the same as any other member.

We are and we will continue to treat GMjr fairly.
