I am hoping to be on tonight (Touches wood) =). I hardly ever get to play with you lot on a Friday as I am normally traveling or busy with social stuff, but I do play a lot on weekdays with the Juniors and the likes of Twobad, Ghosty, Arithon etc even though I am yet to earn my wings  Ninja .

Who else is likely to be about?

I am getting a friend of mine to join the server tonight too, as a bullied him into buying the game during the Summer sale. You will all have to be on your best behavior =) as hopefully he will become a regular if things go right tonight. He will be registered to the forums under the name "Sky" and I will get him to join the TS3 server.

I have promised him that I will take him under my wing (even though I am not the best choice of player if you look at my K/D ratio) as he is completely new to the game. If anyone else can help him in answering questions and giving him hints i would be grateful too. If admins can ensure that he is in a friendly squad of dMw'ers to help him out that would be awesome, as I remember how steep a learning curve it was for me on BF2 for the first time.

Thanks guys.

Hi Drunken, My K/D Ratio is 0.93 (i think) but i dont really care about K/D Ratio's as ive played on alot of online FPS And BC:2 Is the only game i find that really challanges my skill as there are so many players online that are awesome at the game so dont worry about K/D.

I should be on at roughly 9PM As i go to the gym in the evenings.

Get "Sky" to squad up with you and other dMW members (hopefully twobad & Arithon etc can swap him to dMW vs World?)

And get him to be a medic (as this will rank him up quicker) or assualt or enginer (depending on the map so he can get points for repair and resupply)

I tend to play the "Team" role and go Medic or Engi for the team and switch alot rather than a class that gets lots of kills.

I am getting a positive K/D ratio now though most of the time, when you start out you always have a poor score (due to lack of guns and learning curve), also like the other day I do tend to be on a server when people are points farming (the medic on our side following me round and his mate on the other side killing me then the medic reviving me etc) That was really annoying! 17 deaths from that before they got the message from the admins and stopped doing it! I switched squads loads of times and they just switched too =(.

I also tend to get a lot of points from critical damage and spotting as I am not that good at finishing them off!

Getting better each time I come on though and I will be positive ratio in no time =).

Ninja he is already registered under the name "Sky" and eh has joined TS before and talked to Pete.

Dude, K/D really don't say anything about how good a player you are.  If you sit at the back and snipe you'll have a great K/D but you wont advance the team much.  This is the first game i've ever played online (yes, i know, what have i been doing with my life?) and for the first few months my K/D was 0.2
I'll be on tonight so see you and Sky then ( but Fazer will be in Spain).

BTW. Kill Ninja with C4, he loves that and thinks its really funny :boxing:

I fully agree..the quickest way to earn your wings is to keep killing Ninja with C4 :narnar:...have fun on there tonight guy's and i will see you in a couple of weeks

I remember that game DZ, you did do rather well.  But it also kinda makes my point.  I know you weren't sniping but in the * with the rest of us grunts but look at my score to K/D compared to yours.  How may kills you get has very little to do with your score or if you a good "team" player!
