Just curious what frame rates people get? as been setting a friend WoW account up today and it got about 50 ish (was fine if honest) constantly even in dungeons, call it a curiousity :D

Mine is currently at 116 FPS on a bad day

was what my old PC was at lol not bad :D was fine to play with

...and what's the refresh rate of your TV?   That was the point I was trying to make, the TV/monitor refresh rate affects what you see.  200fps on a 60Hz LCD panel means 60 is your max!

i dont know lol but i told ya what readings id been getting same for SC2

Sounds like you need to enable V-Sync so that the fps doesn't exceed what your telly/monitor can do. This also removes the nasty tearing effect which I personally cannot stand.

Sharpfang

on 250 frames in sw, 150ish in raid situations with settings on ultra

Im using v-sync to prevent tearing, so 60fps max for me. Usualy it's 60 fps, and busy area's it'll drop to about 50-55 fps, and when everybody (AV start area, 40 people) start spamming all their aoe's and buffs it might drop a bit lower hehe.
But it's all in a well playable range (most settings max, except for shadows and light-rays those are a bit lower, and AA 2x max, any higher makes me nouxious).
You should not fear the dark itself...but what\'s in it!
