Time to say: byebye RGT! Not going to raid with you anymore. After the events two weeks ago and the condescending remarks of a certain guildy, I had to think about my contribution to the progress of RGT.
During a nice and friendly discussion with Tea it became clear to me that my way of enjoying this game and yours is not really in line anymore. Raiding wasn't fun anymore after close to two years raiding with DMR.

I have to confess for a moment I thought about "just leaving", because many do it like that, but why should I behave like all those suckers who came to our grp, got pampered nicely as new members, snatched some loot and "boom" off they went. Even though my performance sucked, at least I was able to be among the five highest attendants over quite some time.
Anyways, no hard feelings.

Thanks for the good times guys.

Noreia you've been a solid supporter of DMR and RGT and one its highest attenders which has always been appreciated.  I hope you remain an active member of both DMR and Dead Men Walking - perhaps even attending the next LAN party?  You'd meet a bunch of friends and have a great time there.   Thank you for your contribution and participation in many RGT First Kills in Cataclysm raid content.

Hey Nor,

Dont think this is the right one to post this in but im sure TL or Someone will give it a post of its own. ( guessing he just did.... )
It has been nice raiding with you Nor and maybe cu in a different game :)

Anyway, goodluck with your future plans.

Bye Noréia!

Don't leave DMW though, there's many fun friends here and maybe you could get into RGW? As TL said, getting to know people at the LAN showed just they ready really just a bunch of sad old men ^W^W^W really awesome people with a shared love of gaming and beer. And we play many games! Although I'm just into WoW here atm I will probably get involved in SWTOR as well and eventually make a choice between spending my raiding time on SWTOR or WoW as I doubt I could do both.

When I first joined DMR, Jas made it clear to me in my pre-joining chat (or it could have been TL in a later convo my memory is hazy) that the guild was looking to step up and take a more critical view to improve performance.
I'm an old man by computer terms and a sufferer of RSI which isn't improving. I have had a feeling on a few nights that several of the heroic bosses stretch me to my personal limits where I can see it's me making the mistakes and whilst I try my best it's obvious that it's me causing the wipe (hellllooooo HC Maloriak and failed interupts). At the end of these nights I seriously consider my future too (hey, it's a game remember - enjoyment!) but normally when I raid again my troubles vanish as the boss crumbles beneath our awesome force! Remember, we're running heroics - it's supposed to be hard and more challenging.

Anyway, enough guff from me. Thanks for the fun times we did have though!

Noreia dont be a stranger ... We all do appreciate the effort you have put in over the years. As you mentioned we are moving our focus in the game and its not going to be right for everyone.
