So as ive found we have barely changed.

All ive noticed is massive heals. We have a couple extra spells now which i presume to help us with tank healing.

I will if im not beaten to it ( working for the next 13 days or so) make a rough guide on the talents etc as all the others have :)

OK Well so far I haven't really test run the changes due to annoying addon config but here is some info of the new talent tree choices, what I have gone for and why and spell changes and use as I see it.  Was talking with Switch about this last night so hopefully it will save a bit of time for our busy RL, feel free to add stuff........ :)

Talent Tree:

Tier 1:  Pretty much about your mobility and I think largely down to personal choice although may turn out that there are situational uses:
Feline Swiftness - Increases movement speed by 15%.  I chose this with current content in mind, just means I can move out of stuff faster, get to stuff faster etc

Tier 2: This is a healing tier and there are really only two sensible choices here:  I have stayed with Natures Swiftness which combined with Healing Touch gives me a big, instant, mana free oh sh*t heal, increased by 50% if I need it which suits me right now.  Still has a 1min CD.  Cenarion Ward would be the other choice which heals the target over 6 seconds if they take damage and this spell only has a 30 second cooldown.

Tier 3:  This will be largely situational again.
Faerie Swarm - Weakened armour debuff, reduced movement speed by 50% and prevents the target from stealthing
Mass Entaglement - Roots your target and those around it for 20 seconds and can affect up to 5 targets.  I chose this one, might just be useful if there are alot of mobs running amok!!
Typhoon:  Summons typhoon in front of you causing knockback and daze for 6 seconds

Tier 4:  I still think Incarnation is the best choice from this tier since this is talent that gives you ToL with all the previous benefits from that.

Tier 5:  This is CC ability tree and down to personal choice and situation.
Disorienting Roar:  Disorients all enemies within 10 yards for 3 seconds.  30 second CD
Ursol's Vortex:  Creates a vortex of wind at the destination location reducing movement speed of all enemies within 8 yards by 50% and the first enemy that tries to leave the vortex will get sucked back in! Lasts 10 secs and has 1min CD.  I chose this one, it sounds great for me to bravely run away from things and let someone smash them up while I heal :P
Mighty Bash: Stun the target for 5 secs.  50 sec CD

Tier 6:  This is the new tier for us at level 90.  Will most likely take Natures Vigil - Increases all damage and healing done by 20% for 30 secs, whilst active all single target healing spells also damage a nearby enemy target for 25% of the healing done  and all single target damage spells also heal a nearby target for 25% of the damage done. 3 min CD

As Switch said, in practice it doesn't look like there is much to note in terms of healing style for Resto's apart from 2 notable new things:

Wild Mushrooms and Wild Mushroom Bloom:  You can place 3 mushrooms on the ground and then cause them to bloom for extra AOE healing.  This has been pretty much slated on the forums for being very weak in terms of the healing done, time taken to place them etc.  However they may well have their use for fights where you KNOW prior placement and then can put them down pre-pull and use them with Efflorescence when you know damage will be intense.

Ironbark:20% damage reduction for 12 seconds, so very much like Barkskin but you can cast it on ANY party member.

In terms of Glyphs:

Glyphs of Lifebloom:  Allows you to swap stacks of LB from one target to another
Glyph of Regrowth:  Removes the HoT element of the spell but guarantees that Regrowth will crit
Glyph of Rejuve:  When rejuve active on 3 or more players the cast time of Nourish is reduced by 30%

All the minor glyphs are mostly cosmetic, if you hate the stag travel form you can glyph it so that you become a mount or look like a cheetah instead.  There is one that reduces falling damage - Glyph of Grace.

That's it for now, will probably think of more things later!!

Cheers Riggy great post  Not alot to add but....

Tier 1- Again personal pref fo this...15% speed buff is useful all the time obviously. Ive been playing with Wild Charge- leap to targeted person. 25yd range. I think this could be usefull on vcertain fights depending on the mechanics. The main thing would be if you aggro something you can leap to the tank. 15% movement is prob the best though.

Tier 2-Again ive used cenarion ward to test it out and tbh its not that great. As you say rigs NS is prob the best choice as now the spell is free and 50% increase on the heal. Nom.

Tier 3-What you said ^^ im using the entaglment also. You agro you can use that and run :P

Tier 4-Again ToL form ftw. Just annoying its a spell.

Tier 5-Chosen the same as you. Another nice CC. Cant wait to pvp :P

Tier 6-Will be the same choice. Innervate cast on self, Tree form, Natures Vigil....op heals :)

Glyphs im gona use Lifebloom with be nice to tank swap 3 at a time. Regrowth...i was criting between 54and 60k last night. Wild-growth- and extra target is hit by it so 6 people and then with ToL form 7...

Youve covered the new spells aswell :P Just to add though...

Iron bark Can be cast on any player in raid/grp so if you know something big is going to hit the tank obvioulsy a nice spell to use prior.

The heal shrooms are not too shabby. They are fairly easy to place i found as you dont have to click on the icon 3 time, just the once and you get a target area and click 3 times. They only heal for 5k each but they heal EVERYONE in the 8yard area. So 15k per person - 150k raid heal in .5sec. Obvioulsy they will be best used once we know our gather up points on certain fights. That combined with swifmend and glyphed WG is quite nice imo.

If you glyph regrowth just remember you cant use swiftmend as there is no hot from it now.
