Guys we are fast approaching this part of the game. We have 5 players at Lvl 50.

Now these can be run 8 or 16 players I think there are more mobs and better loot in the 16.

The questions are

Do we look to have teams 8?
or start with 8 to work towards 16?
Or run multiple teams?

I would like to see as many as possible raiding.  I know these questions raises issues but we need to sort them.

Also there is the dkp which I will be reading about as I have a certain knowledge.  

Also raid captains or class leaders might need to be appointed?

Well i would say start with a group of 8 and when we have more people at 50 and able/willing to raid convert it to 16.
This way the first 8 people have already a nice idea on how raiding is in swtor and can help the bigger group out.

But the same as for the wow raiding teams it is first how many people do we have that are able and willing to raid.
After that it is getting enough tanks/dps but i think for our case at the moment is enough healers ;) to get a group going.


I would go for raidleaders as i don't see any real use for classleaders. There are enough people within the guild that can help eachother out if a problem or something pops up.

The dkp part, my own feeling says to start of with /roll in the beginning and when there is a solid raid group going move over to dkp at some point.

Start with 8 people so they can have some knowledge bout how the raids are works in SWTOR.
As soon as more members hit lvl 50 add them to the first group or mabye make second one off 8 peeps.
I can image that most members wanna do raiding as soon they hit 50..(ready or not ).

Maybe also focus for your gear before start with Raiding.

Raidleaders i dont have any knowledge bout that,but whe have enuf members that does have it...(Whitey,Ice,TL ect ect)
DKP part lets roll first like Ice said,so whe can get some decent gear.
Whe Bioware update the game with Guildbank whe allways can store some items (DKP)
