Tips and Tricks

Hey all i thought i'd make a topic to add any quick tips or tricks to that you believe will help others to hopefully form a comprehensive list (if we get alot ill add them all into one post later to be stickies).

• If your Companion icon disappears press N or the crew skills icon at the top of the page to bring the character back
• If something is for Lightside/darkside level * or above its normally due to the colour crystal as Darkside empire players cant use Green or blue crystals and  Light Republic cant use red and vise versa
• Under Preferences you can add companion comparison, this lets you compare any gear you find to yours and your companions this makes replacing there equipment very easy
• If the guild list doesnt display members or buttons dont work press Ctrl + U twice to reset your UI, this fixes most issues
• press CTRL + S if your sound disappears as this will mute and then unmute your sound restoring all sound channels

That's not true.  I had a green crystal in my lightsaber for a while and I'm a Sith Inquisitor.  I was level 2 Lightside at the time I believe.

Yup you have to be lightside as Sith to use Blue and Green crystals.

top tip !

take slicing, make masses of cash, and buy your way into your other crew skills

having 2 chars, one low level noob, spend a hour a day slicing, and you`ll bring in a fair amount of cash.

if you have archaeology, scavenging or slicing, make sure you have resources tracked at all times, as the "nodes" can appear virtually anwhere, and some of them have a lot of decent loot in them.

also if you see a mysterious jedi body/ skull  out in the wilds.. do not click it, unless you have 15 other mates with you !
apparently this spawns a world boss, who is reputed to be a "tough cookie".. bring milk !

After today amber your tip is redundant as the patch reduced slicing

do you want a very large oxygen tank, to save you from holding your breath...
as of the 29 i made about 60k just arsing about, doing quests, and having 2 of the crew on slicing runs, now i`m using that cash to raid for artifacts
