I recently came across this game and wanted to share it with you all. It's an MMO set in the modern world.

I have played the last beta weekend and it's really fun and refreshing. The first part I got was a zombie infested town and you have to find out what happened. This you do by doing quests, ranging from killing monsters to solving puzzels or infiltrate a trap infested basement.

There are 3x3 types of weapons; Melee (hammer, blade, fist) Guns (pistols, assult rifle, shotgun) and Magic (blood, chaos, elemental) and the choice of weapon determins your 'role' in a fight. Eg, blood magic can be used for healing, where blades have a tanking option. You're not stuck to any of these however.

You don't gain levels but AP and SP. AP is spend on abilities for the different weapon types and SP are to improve the weapon type itself and determin what role you want from it. You can carry 2 weapons at the same time, combining the different aspects of them that way. The limitation in this is that you can only have 7 active and 7 passive abilities at any given time. Eg, I played a blood/shotgun character, specialized in healing. The blood magic gave me healing and dot capability, where a shotgun has aoe damage for packs.
