Tell us a bit about yourself! Who are you? Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of work do you do?

Well hello there! I'm Gary,  a 37 year old gentleman from the very far south east of the UK, been here most of my life and still like it mostly. I've lived in the states on and off too where i met my husband and we've settled back here now as American immigration rules suck I work as an IT technician in a local secondary school which is AWESOME, I really enjoy my job even though our equipment is from the dark ages (2006...dark ages in PC land) and I also enjoy booze and video games and things, many many other things. Easily pleased is how you may describe me !

Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.

i'm a happy chap, friendly and drama-less, up for almost anything. I've played WOW since the burning crusade and apart from the occasional burn out and 'time out' periods I've been a very active WoW addict I've raided since karazhan on several different classes but found my calling (As best as i can play anyhow) as a forsaken holy priest (see the armory link) there's nothing I enjoy more than grouping up with like minded nutters and challenging a new/old dungeon or raid. Obviously WoW is an MMo and that's what I like about the game, its social aspect, I'm a regular rambler on TS or Mumble and think it enhances the game immensely banging on about rubbish while mashing mobs

How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?

I've been playing video games before they were video games i'm THAT old. LCD games... that's how old I've owned most home gaming systems, PC's or console or handhelds from the early 80's until now and played all the genres so that gives you an idea of my gaming 'career' but i am mostly into MMO's these days. i'm on a sabatical from SWTOR where I am a member of dead men walking at the moment actually, I'm waiting until they make the UI more customisable

There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?

I work with a member of your community so that's how I first found out about the group. I'm applying as I've never had a serious alliance character on any realm and with a full class set on doomhammer I figured I'd see what life is like on the other side. That and Jewellsey is out leveling me with his damned guild perks and heirlooms !

What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?

I'm still an active member of the 'intrepid Society' gaming community who has a Warcraft guild on Doomhammer, hence the Social application

Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?

I'm a RL friend of Jewellsey, hopefully that doesn't effect my application adversely Well I say friend, I'm also his boss  

Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?

I did just read those posts and I think they match my philosophy very closely I'm not looking for an invite so I can hit everyone up for gear and a free ride, just a fun respectful place to hang out

What do you look for in a guild?

Friendly people who have a serious but fun attitude to gaming, and fun, and more fun.

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?

You can find me on aszune on my paladin Eép (grr...someone already had my un accented Eep ) or through one of many characters on doomhammer including Eep, kbai, Pah and even erm

''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?

A raid focussed guild from first glance although i do know that you have social players also

What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you?

Keep on enjoying the game, keep on being a part of good communities and doing the best I can at what i am enjoying the most of!

Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.

Its pretty much the game I've known and loved for many years. I'm not a number cruncher, I'm not an elitist and I'm easily amused and pleased, that and everything I havent liked in the past has been sorted with add-ons or patches / new content so apart from the occasional period of doldrums the game has worked at great for me.

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?

First I'd mention to that person that I found their comments offensive and if the offence continued I'd report them to the admins for hopefully some swift mediation
