£100 for a keyboard? You must be out of your mind to pay that.

Many of use the Logitech equivalent - such as the G15 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logitech_G15) or similar - which is about half this price and also comes with an LCD screen for stats etc if you're into that.

Razer overall are a great brand, I use a Copperhead mouse and it's superb.

Apparently the mechanical key set up on this is a better system and lot quicker and smoother than membrane-led keyboards but it's a hefty premium and I'm not sure what you will gain.

Ive been looking at the Razer Maurauder too, as playing MMO with normal keyboards im fine but RTS games past a certain stage require extra capabilties beyond what mine cna do (macro'd buttons for a chain of commands etc)

Using my laptop's keyboard and proud of it :D

Heh, i would like to point I have a disdain for Logitech equipment simply due to my track history with them (they break alot seeminly) and issues ive had.

Personally it's about macro capability for me, or was when I was a WOW PvP addict. The G15 was good enough for me and I've never had problems with Logitech gear. I did consider the Razer and it's macro set up is seriously good, but I just couldn't justify the extra cost. If you plan to put it to full use and have the funds I think it's a solid candidate for hardcore gaming but have no personal experience of it

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Aye that's for sure. It only takes one or two bad experiences to put you off an brand for good.

vladic

Aye, i can say that several experiences with Types or brands over the years seriously put me of, for example Logitech just seemed to break everyother day or not last long.
