QuoteHi Dark Council + RL.

As my previous public postings in reply to officers ones laying down the rules have caused some concern before I think I'll keep this private.
Now, as I'm going away for two weeks without much internet access I'll have to say my piece now without any immediate feedback :)

QuoteBOP crafting recipes/materials go to 'guild crafters' which we nominate as officers/raid leaders first and only once they have the recipe does it get farmed out to others in the raid as you cannot sell BOP on GNT

BOE crafting recipes go to officer/RL crafters only with duplicates then being sold on GNT

I strongly disagree with this as it's clear favouritism towards the chosen few for no discernable benefit.
Heck, the fact it goes on GTN before being offered to the guild is just a big slap in the face, especially to a lot of raiders who have respecced biochem (not me, I was biochem on twyster at launch).
I'm also 100% sure that no officer/RL, nor current raider has armstech or cybertech on their main as their crewskill (but I could be wrong). At this point I don't even know if armstech has raid drops (pretty sure they don't).
Either way I'm not happy the the above statements.

So, if the DC is not willing to retract the above rules then I would ask to be considered as the guild crafter for armstech or cybertech. I can respec very very fast ...
I would point out that DC, officers and in game lieutenant have also left so that is hardly a reason for "keeping it in the family". I have no intention of leaving this game or guild in the forseable future :)

Thanks for reading and looking forward to your reply.
As I said above, I'm away for two weeks. Have fun!

Well this is the pm Toby, Drazila and myself received from Twisted.

I don't really know what to say about it as on one side something inside me says, he might have a point.
But a bigger thing inside me is saying /slap him....

But also as seeing he send the pm only to 3 of us and not to all intended says a little thing.

How do you guys think about this etc?    I havn't send a reponse yet.

I read this and to be fair I cba with it last night,  I can see some of his point, but the demand of retracting is a bit strong, I will continue to think about it.

I might be misreading this and I appreciate that I'm not part of SW any more but has the official post been worded correctly. As I understand it the concept is that cool recipes that get picked up in raids basically belong to the Guild as everyone contributed to killing the boss and getting the drop so they all collectively own the recipe. It would be completely impossible for anyone to get the item solo so no one player can claim it just because it dropped for them. On that basis the recipes then get given to official Guild crafters. If the crafter/s all have the recipe it's offered to guild members who will actually use it whether raiders or not, and finally if everyone has it then gets sold on the GTN. However I read the wording as the recipe goes to Guild Leaders and Op Leaders who are crafters and then straight to the GTN with no option for anyone else in the guild to receive it. it reads to me like only DC and OP Leaders can be crafters or get BOE crafting recipes?

That doesn't sound right to me? Of course I might have utterly missed the point here so apologies if that's the case.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.
