Start Wars: Academy vs Kinghts of the Old Republic

I completed Jedi Academy a few weeks back and it played really well, playable but challenging, the dual sabres were nice, and the story was good fun.

I tried KOTOR last night and after 10 minutes of the control interface I uninstalled the darn thing and put Call of Duty on. What is it with Lucas Arts, they get a really nice control method in Academy, release another game, allbeit developed by another software house and make a real time arcade/ story based role playing game into a real pain to play.

Has anyone else tried Knights of the Old Republic and what were your impressions?

Not tried it yet, but was planning too soon.  I have played it on x-box but that was a little different.  My large sausage fingers couldn't get to grips with that gamepad-malarkey

I thought that looked quite good but im a bit sparse for money so ive decided to buy call of duty.

This is a new use of the phrase 'im a bit sparse for money so ive decided to buy call of duty' of which I was previously unaware, seeing as you just posted in another thread that you are about to buy a 4 or 5 megapixel digital camera as well :blink:

KOTOR sucks

It feels like a console game (for an RPG, thats bad), Neverwinter Nights is far superior
