I'm not talking about technical bugs like crashes etc. I'm on about faults in the game design. At it's heart SWG is not a game about building communities or actually doing something interesting. It's about leveling up to a master something or other and then starting again.

If you fancy starting with a weak character and through doing the same thing over and over again turning him or her (or it) into a Master Smuggler or an Engineer or a Medic or whatever then you'll be happy for the rest of you life with SWG as that's all this is about.

But you'll do it in a world where nothing happens and no one does anything apart from level up and level up and level up

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Sorry but I fundamentally disagree - you get out of this game what you are willing to put in.

I've spent a lot of time on this in the last three weeks and have never had problems hooking up with total strangers for some adventuring.  You have to have some level of proficiency to do the really interesting stuff like Reb/Imp missions or going Jedi, but then was that ever not the case in any computer game?  In virtually every FPS (and many other genres) ever created you are already a leet god-like warrior on an interesting challenge.  And none of those games have any longevity.  The only games that people play  for any appreciable length of time are the one's with pvp interaction (such as CS).  SWG has this in bundles - in fact it's the only way to truly progress and evolve.

The difference with SWG is that you aren't pigeon-holed - If you think you are then you aren't thinking laterally enough imho.

It's all about the journey and the things you do on the way.  To do something you have to become somthing, and to become something you have to do something - The circle is complete ;)
If I wanted you to understand I would have explained it better
