Auto Snipers

Just wanted to raise the auto-sniper discussion again about its use on the servers are we going to have guidlines when and not to use it? Say only if your team is 2 or more rounds behind and not unless there are a certain amout of people on the server? Because the gun is become much easier to use much more powerful. At the moment not that i am aware of anyway there are no guidelines unless a admin slaps you for using it too much. But it has come to a point were many people are using it and i think there should be restritions. Just like when we were playing on office earlier it was 4cts vrs 3ts the scores were level on 6 each i was a ct and one of the t's had a autosniper i think its stupid with that little amout of people to use that gun. Well?

I agree, it gets more and more used and it's gotten to powerfull I think. Almost AWM alike.

The Admins are currently debating if guidelines should be introduced and in what form. In the mean time, try to apply some common sense when you use the autosniper - if it is going to ruin gameplay then don't.

just to make things easy u could have the same ruleing as the awm, as the auto-sniper is just as good now as the awm / us the 4-0 down rule thats wot i say

gotta agree that something should be done about the autos, I was playing on one of the servers last week on aztec as ct & a couple of the t's had auto snipers (only abouy 4 v 4) & they were just murdering us, we couldnt do anything because as soon as we showed ourselves to try & do something we just got mowed down.

Yeah the -4 idea is very good and it makes it the same for all the auto's and awps so people cant get the 2 mixed up if say there was only a -2 put on it.

Disagree, I think that they should be allowed as I have yet to experience any situation where it has not been possible for an auto sniper to be flanked/dstracted and taken out by tactical grenade deployment or teamwork. They are still more difficult to use ep. at closer ranges than your normal rifle. I think the majority of public opinion will be against me on this one tho.

I don't disagree with you. However, I do hate it when every TANGO in a team has one! That is when the game gets spoiled IMHO

They are so easy to use and take no real skill and i think they should have a restriction on them i like using them too but it wont make the game fair wit no rules go to publics if you want no rules on them?
