Suspicious forum activity from WOW player

I'm seeing a new forum user named Splash making some odd posts. Does anyone know Splash or their WOW characters. He/she has made no application to DMR so far. However they do list some WOW characters in their profile but they are all NPCS so I'm thinking it's not a legitimate forum member but a spammer waiting to hit the 10 post limit that would let them start spamming us.

So far Splash has three posts up and they're fairly generic responses to some old forum threads. I've checked their IP, e-mail etc with the Stop Forum Spam web site but haven't had a hit there. I've banned a few spammers recently but the odd WOW character names means I'm concerned I might ban a legitimate user. Anyone have any info about Splash before I ban him/her.
