Gh0st Face Killah

This demo is a single level from Unreal II XMP ("Expanded Multiplayer"). The all new XMP mode is a class-based multiplayer game where teams use vehicles, cooperation and Unreal II: The Awakening's devastating weaponry to battle it out across large-scale terrain maps. Teams fight for control of energy sources to power their war machines, deployment points to get to the front lines quickly, and ultimately, four artifacts that are required to win each match. Current owners of Unreal II: The Awakening standard edition will be able to download the XMP multiplayer mode for free on the day Unreal II: The Awakening - Special Edition is released.

Available from all the usual suspects. The game Unreal II was crap so lets hope that this is lots better.

You need original Unreal II disks for this to work.

For a change I'm going to drift htis slightly off topic.

1) I have my office and PC set up, but no broadband yet, so at least I can play a few previously leeched games.

2) and the reason for the post...what do you lot think of class based games.
I tried the usual suspects a while ago, (wolf etc) and they seemed good potential but they end up with all players taking the decent classes with the biggest guns or the snipers. No-one wants to be a medic, etc.

so furnish me...incidentally I think natural selection is sh1te. And the game of the same name is too ;)

Great fun - MUCH better than Unreal II.

Still trying to get to grips with the tactics (as is everyone else given they way they run around like headless chickens) but a very tactical game. Playing together is the way to go on this one using the different classes properly and setting up defenses at strategic points.

Nice one - it gets the BB  Award
