The first screen looks like "The Nightwatch" some Other soldiers maybe?

Anyway, I don't care what it looks like - unless the game mechanic has been returned to something resembling BF2/BF1942 (7 classes, in-game browser, in-game squad communications, spawn on squad leader, team commander, large pilot-able multi-player vehicles [AC130, large ships, submarines]) then I'm not interested.

I don't want another "lets dumb it down further" COD-alike. I want BATTLEFIELD.

Instead, we'll no doubt get a Facebook whipped, DRM crippled micro-transaction engine, with all the depth of a teaspoon. Someone needs to explain to EA that "FPS" means "First Person Shooter" and that it doesn't mean that all the in-game characters can say is F##k S##t P###y!

EDIT: RPS have article on the presentation by DICE, where they played the game using a "special needs interface" (sorry controller) - another bad sign that this is a console-led development (IQ's dropped sharply) and EA PR guy stated "Social persistence to increase replay value" like FaceBook for serial killers is a good thing and "A single player game true to the Battlefield franchise" which is a multi-player game franchise...

It's a good looking game, BF3 with extra shiney.

The gameplay looks dull as dishwater though. Let's hope the multiplayer has at least some of the missing features Arithon listed....

5:50 Invite to dog tag hunter ?new game mode? 6:40 new hand commands/orders cutting the guys leg off was interesting if not a little anti climatic, slow mo heli kill was quite cool. Overall not impressed enough to get the game
