Mario is needing to step down from running rgw, Hes loosing his Job and to go with that also his apartment. Hes working every hour he can to get cash to see him through till something comes up.

Looking at current ascendance and roster issues withing rgw we just cant field a squad. Short on healers tanks and dps. The only way to run is by using RGT members to fill the spots and its too much to ask for people to be raiding 5 nights a week

So unless someone can make a better statement

QuoteOver the last 2 months we have seen a decline in applications to join our Raid Teams. Some of this is due to the raiding base of players on our server slowly getting smaller. We have already seen more than one of the big guilds jump ship to feed raid teams.
The issue we have at the moment....RGW are struggling to field a full team. We have supported as much as possible but the fact is we have hit a point that the support will need to be constant to continue raiding. That means if we use members from RGT they will be raiding 5 nights/week which is too much to ask.
Through various RL reasons over the last few days we have also been informed that more members will be unable to raid.

Im sure all will agree that you don't want to be spending the evenings trying to pug and your time could be better spent in more productive ways. That leads us with no option but to put RGW raiding on hold.

We are looking into options to try and still support raiding for you guys but it may not be in the format you are used to or want

1 Looking at a Friday social run
2 Filling any spots available for RGT as they come up
3 Merging RGW with another guild

The fact is any of these options will not be a perfect fix but for some it may be enough.

Im sorry that we have hit the wall with attendance but its better to let you know asap rather than waste your time turning up for raids that are canceled

I cant thank all you guys enough for your time and effort in keeping RGW moving. Its had a very good run and some huge achievements have been seen over that last few years but im afraid we need to call it. A special thanks to all the peeps who have been involved in running leading helping it over these last expansions I think we can be proud that we have had a stable team for so long when so many other guilds have fallen away.

Its time to think about what you want from wow and if we can support your needs.

Thanks again

QuoteOver the last year it has become ever harder to find recruits to join our Raid Teams.   The game is old, people get tired & leave and Aszune's population is getting ever smaller - we have already seen several big guilds transfer to other realms in search of a larger player base.

Well done last night Jas.

I also spoke with Tanales, he'll be available to help out on RGT nights form here on.   We can deal with RGT membership or rank changes as and when things settle and we know what is happening with other members.

I got hold of Clare via Guru and he will be around to help out tonight, but for info hsi wife is pregnant (9th month) so Guru said to understand if he suddenly disappears from keyboard!     I'll speak to him tonight about the possibility of helping out more regularly until we get a full-time replacement.
