Shell-shocked we are.   And so was Tortos when he went belly up and dished out some purple loot to RGT tonight, but note the nice collection of corpses in the room from our previous wipes! :roflmao:

Gratz on the loot all and onwards now to the 5th boss, Megaera!    Thank goodness Blizz did not put too much trash between us and the boss............not!

4 bosses down, 8 more to go in Normal mode, then Heroics and the potential for the bonus 13th boss!

grats:)

with this progression you make it sound very easy raid instance:g:

"Ahem" What TL means to say is that we have 4 bosses down, with 8 to go before Heroic modes.

And Clare, the Raid is so far both fun and challenging, partly because of the dps requirements but mostly because every encounter so far, has challenged our skills in a different way. I can truly recommend looking forward to doing the Raid yourself. ^^

Oh, and that trash? Yikes.

I've gone back to using my fingers to count, sorry for the error!  OP corrected!

@Clare: I'd definitley not say that it is easy progression, but it is much more fun than for example Dragon Soul where every guild in the world seemed to kill the entire list of bosses in week one.

http://www.wowprogress.com/pve/eu/aszune/rating.tier15_10

On Aszune, only six other 10 man guilds and three 25 man guilds have killed the 4 bosses that we have, so we're doing quite well for our 9 hours per week compared to the number of days/hours that some other guilds raid!   The below table shows the raiding hours that other guilds invest (based on WoL data):
Guild|# Raid Nights p/wk|Hours p/wk
Iterum|5 | 20-25
Postal|5 | 20-25
SPQ|6|20-24
Prestige|4|12-15
Amberkin Tribe|3-4|10-12
Doomcaliber Knights|5|20
Origin 25 man|3|9
Closure 25 man|4|16
Finnish Brute Force 25 man|3|12
Dead Men Raiding|3|9[/table]

There's only 1 guild (Origin) on our raid hours who are ahead of us and they raid 25 man which is better tuned at Horridon (and therefore they did not get stuck at Horridon like most 10 man guilds did) - and they're only 2 bosses ahead of us.    Amberkin Tribe seem to be doing really well, but  we're closing in on their progress with our successes this week- Amberkin got Megaera & Ji-Kun on their Monday night raid, so they have only just got those two additional kills.

Overall, DMR are doing pretty well with our limited raid hours per week and the content does seem to be a good challenge, way more of a challenge and way more satisfying than Dragon Soul or Tier 14 was.

I love that we are adapting to boss mechanics fast in this expansion!
Horridon killed on 21st pull
Council killed on 21st pull
Tortos killed on 20th pull

Nice nice and seeing that dpsnumbers are varying so much from boss to boss makes me smile. Putting the right class on the right spot seems to be one of things that made us progress quicker than last expansion.

Haha, said the man that was beat senseless on the dps by a tank :-) Now... go check the tortos thread. I know TL talks constantly to cover up why he wipes up, but he also does assignments.. You need a TL-filter mate. :roflmao:

I agree, but at the same time it makes me a bit sad and also makes Blizzard's 'bring the player not the class' a total joke.    Jim in particular knows what I mean here as rogue aoe dps has been just horrible in some fights and it's got nothing at all to do with Jim, it's the class that is the problem.    As our gear level goes up the raid sensitivity to 'the right class' will decrease, so we'll be able to take a more flexible raid makeup into each encounter and still get the kill.

But it still sucks if you are the one that has to sit outside on progress tries and it's even worse when you know the decision to sit that class is correct.

I never seemed to like the progression comparison when including 25man runs, i mean if you are comparing 10man vs 10man with same hours then i agree but 25man by far is easier then 10man even if both having the same hours of raids (10man are more fun BUT everyone must contribute or its a wipe "rare/ exceptional cases rule doesnt apply here:sideways:".

in other words, having the least raiding hours and nights and in 10man modes, with current progress is just VERY GOOD (you can give yourself some credit:D)
