Off for my second snowboarding trip this year on Saturday morning. Starting the travel process on Friday afternoon so I will be offline all next week. :narnar:

Have fun and someone keep shooting SJ with a P90 for me.

Catch you again next Saturday :boxing:

PS:-
I also need someone to run around mindlessly in Arma 3 and act all confused and die lots.
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

Where you going?

We came back on Saturday from Courcheval and the snow in the Three Valleys is the best I've ever seen it in the 35 years since I started.

This is what we did. Wanted to do more on the Les Menuires side but high winds meant we couldn't get over the mountain to Meribel for two days.... aww well still sunny so another vin chaud and sun baking.

Ahh L'Escapade Went to the Three Valleys for the last two years. Stayed Three times in Les Menuires and once in Val Thorens ( yes went for two weeks each year )

This time going to Tignes le Lac. I like L'Espace Killy, it has a lot of varied terrain and it's where I did my Snowboard instructors course a few years back and we've been there a few times so know it reasonably well.

Forecast looks like we'll have dump on Saturday and Sunday night with a bit more on Monday so looking for some off-piste powder later in the week.

Ooooo lovely.

Skiied in Val D'Isere a few times and agree the L'Espace Killy is a lovely region. Never made it as far as Tignes but heard it's great.

GL and HF - post a pic.  :)

Conditions have been really good. First 2 days it was snowing then sunny on Tuesday then some more snow and now sunny for the last 2 days!
Cracking conditions and done some lovely off-piste.
Not brought a camera so not wasted time taking piccies.
Got a head-cam so may YouTube some footage later.

Excellent.

Those Hero headcam things seem to be really popular now - that and helmets.....

I've got a Contour rather than a Hero. I think they are better, more compact and not so stupid looking. Also it performed much better than my mates Hero GoPro2 that he was using.

I'll have to edit and upload the video to YouTube and then I'll add a link. Here are a couple of pics I took with my naff phone camera on the last day while I was wandering around to pass the time before the coach left.
