wireless tv streamers

Has anyone had any experience with wireless tv streamers?

Our Virgin box just got updated and the new HD version no longer has the analogue antenna out, ...which I had hijacked to send the picture to another part of the house. There's still a scart out for "vcr" but the main tv output is HDMI. The streamers I can find online seem to get pretty varied reviews...

I have a few spare remotes, so it'd be nice to be able to control the box from the other room, and 720p would be nice but is not essential (especially if it pushes up the price a lot). Really just looking for a streamer that works reasonably well.
