Having tangled with them once before at JFK, I can confirm that the TSA and Homeland Security are jerks of the highest order.

My brother went via the US to go to Mexico. Even though he wasn't leaving the airport he says it was the most horrible customs check he's ever had. The US is low on my list of places to visit. There are progressive areas like California and plenty of good TV comes out of New England...but the whole country is dragged down by the middle bit. The part that refuses to believe in evolution, climate change, the right of women do have a say about what goes on in their own bodies. I'm unlikely to travel there for pleasure.

Shame, because once you get past the prats at the airport it's a great country to visit.

NYC, Washington, Boston, San Francisco, Seattle... these are all places worth seeing. Skiing in Vermont has to be one of my all time favourite holidays :)[/COLOR]

I have not had that many problems other than them all laughing at us queued up for 2 hours with no cubicle things open. That i did not appreciate. Someone from Eastern Europe booed them and shouted out "Shame on you, all of these people are waiting" he was taken off to one side and not let into the country.
