?Custom/modded firmware for Dlink DSL-G604T

Does anyone have any experience with running custom firmware on routers? Specifically linux based stuff. I am looking for any custom firmware that can run on a Dlink DSL-G604T adsl+router+wlan unit. Specifically I am interested in traffic shaping protocols similar to those found on the Dlink-4300 or on the linux gaming firewall here: http://www.langamereviews.com/content/view/144/2/
