echo

Well today i played cs and had no problems but at 21:45 dutch time i got on the server and i had a very big echo. Just like in cs_siege. (have that echo in aztec dust2 every map)

A reboot doesn't work.
Log out and in doesn't work.
Delete Clientregis.... doesn't work.
Some guys said some commands also they didn't work.

Who knows the right answer to stop that echo???

Can someone plz help me out with this?

try room_type 0

room_type 0 Variable
Changing to 0 while in-game will stop the echo caused by some maps and other sounds.

tried that but doesn't work.

Even when i start up steam. And the sounds steam has are having a echo :blink: :angry:

But my windows etc. is normal only steam is giving that stupid echo.

I tried to use my other windows but there i lag but didn't had that echo.
But it was on the same account. On this windows i tried to use my second account but also that echo but no lag <_<

Me getting a bit crazy :blink:

Maybe you did what I did a while back.
I got this new fangled mobo that had fancy sound thingy built in.
I played with the nVidia control centre and changed the environment type.
Suddenly everything was all echoey. :angry:

Reset it back to original sound and it is all OK again.

Funny this is just today i switch the pc on and find out my windows is all echo'y, games are just fine it's just windows.

I'll look around for that control center thing.

Maybe you cleaned your ears and that was the echo. Now your ears are dirty again....

i'm starting to hate steam again.

I just wanted to play some cs and what do i've that stupid echo again :blink:

Aaahhh well i saw i nice cheater who forgot to watch his back

But it plays terrible with an echo.
