This mini series was on in May and have just got round to watching it. I thought it was brilliantly done, If you liked 'band of brothers', I suspect you will like this.

It's a story about 5 German friends in the years of 1941 to 1945 from the eve of war to the end, yes it has subtitles but don't let that put you off.
