Looks great, gutted i'm going to miss the 1st 10 days or so, most mind boggling stat in my opinion from the newsletter:

"Beta 3’s 2,406 star systems mean it is huge, about five times bigger than Beta 2.  Yet it represents only a little over half a millionth of one per cent of the full game to be launched later this year!"

I've had E:D since the alpha, but simply don't have the time to play at the moment...

Imperial Fighter looks pretty nice. I have to say, once you get a decent jump drive you can skim over the known galaxy pretty quickly. Hopefully they'll have 50+LY FSDs this time round, that'll make exploration fun.
