Changes and updates

Thanks to those of you who have looked at your admins, dropped the  inactives and promoted new people. I think this has worked well and we  now have a good group of active in-game admins in place.

We'd urge you to revisit this on a regular basis - we're always looking to pull up worthy regular new members into the admin ranks.

As part of this overhaul, we've also had a look at our Council structure and are proposing a couple of changes.

Firstly (although we won't announce this to  public) Oldie, who was retired, has agreed to come back officially. He's  already been rebadged and he's very active here and across several  games so it gives us (Council) additional visibiliy.

Benny is very busy in RL as his work deservedly  continues to fly (was it Gore Vidal who said; ‘Every time a friend  succeeds, I die a little’ ? :narnar:)  and he has agreed to be debadged for the time being. It's something he  mooted a while back and as he's not regularly on and it does make sense.  He'll still be around and about but not in an official CA capacity.

Finally, we've looked at our pool of Admins and think we're a little  light so have asked Brother_Tobious to join us as a Community Admin. Not  only has he been a Game Leader across several games (on occasion more  than one at the same time) but he's active  in several of the games  we currently play whilst being an active  presence on the forum. In addition, both he and Ninja_Freak have been  running the LANs very successfully over the last few years.

Besides which, we've never heard anyone say a bad word about him and he’s one of life’s smiley, happy people and it’s infectious.

We trust you'll join us in congratulating him. We'll post this to public in a few days.
