Mission: Ghost Hawk Down

You are part of a multinational UN force trying to bring order back to a failed African state.  The UN gave overall control of their forces to another country’s military which has not gone down well with you commanders.  After a couple of poorly thought out missions your political leaders could not stomach the idea of body bags coming home due to a foreign powers inept military planners and gave the order that our forces would conduct their own separate land missions.

While returning from one such mission you heli is hit by a lucky RPG shot and it comes down within the city limits.  You request support from the commander of UN forces but he is in no mood to help after being so publicly humiliated and states he will not be able to do anything for 36 hours.

You are on your own.

Your first priority is to secure the crash site, treat the wounded and gather as many weapons and supplies as you can.

Your only option now is to fight your way through the city to get to the UN compound and safety…


(Yes, the story does sound familiar :) )

Updated.


  • VTS weapon resting disabled now that it's built in to the game.
  • Virtual ammo boxes have been changed to use creates.  This means the 'standard' weapons in the box are no longer available.
  • Virtual ammo box saved setups are disabled.
  • Two infantry have been changed to Combat Life Savers.
  • 3 extra slots have been added at the end of the roster.  These are ONLY to be used by late joiners.
  • The tank towards the end has been given orders to stand his ground and not to go running off making it easy to get to the UN compound.

If you play it at the LAN make sure you let me know how it plays.

I've now updated it to the final version.


  • Hopefully the final run in to the UN compound will now be quite a bit harder
  • I have added a little twist of my own which i'm sure will get some groans
  • Can also change the start time
