Starting to play ED

Well, I just got a copy of ED on Steam and am in the process of learning the basics...whoa!  Anyway, I was wondering if I could hook up with the dMw crew?  I'm not sure how you guys have things structured, but I'd like to play.

Yes the learning curve is a bit steep, but stick with and its definatly worth it!

There are several of us who play ED at the moment.
Currently we are building a "fleet" or a few wings in order to go out and hunt bad guys (with LARGE bounties on their heads) in open play, but will take some time.

As for the structure, well we are just a bunch of players who hang out and do trading, combat and community events together, and it is usually a mix of all these things.

Some of us do a lot of trading (i want my Anaconda) while others like to chill out in combat zones shooting pirates and wanted people (also give a fair amount of creds), as well as rep missions and gaining the confidence of the various system overlords (if you want a drop ship / Imperial clipper) which takes time; this is easier with a group of you if you have hunt down people to pirate leaders. It also gives a large amount of creds each if you have the mission and do it as a wing.

We are more than willing to help you out and get you up and running.

Tuna, did you have a Frontier account before buying the game on Steam?

Where you able to link both?  Does having the game on Steam actually require owning a Frontier account?

I have a Frontier account with some of them limited skins, but by the time I'll play the game it will be much lower on Steam.

Yes, but I guess if you already had one you could just lot into that (maybe).
