We too have also defected to the disney princess and her SPARKLY SHIELDS:stroke::stroke::stroke:

This is because me and Arithon were talking about the various powers and their weapons and stuff they offered.. also you can look at the basic fact the shields are +20% stronger (yes they are heavier and use more power) but they sparkle!:bigidea::bigidea:

The WAQ system was a good choice as it was one of the closest (272LY) to Disci/ DB+31.

I`m looking about for an alternative home system, that not too close to our new beloved leaders home system, preferably with a good trade route.
There is one close by, but the trade commodity is not making (as) much when compared to our old gliese 868/ RA runs

WAQ - Pick up Silver and take to Achehoongat (Dalgarno Station) Proffit = 808 CR/Ton
Achehoongat (Dalgarno Station) pick up Progenitor Cells take to WAQ (Fischer Orbital) Profit = 503 CR/ton
Which makes for a 1311 CR/Ton trip x your cargo or 571k for a cargo Anaconda.

The good news is anyone wishing to rank up with the Imperials (for the clipper/ Courier and new Imp Eagle) will have a lot of friends close by to help!
I`m also looking into this as there`s a MILITARY system but it requires the permit for Facece, to see what goodies it has....

From what I read before, it's practically similar to fitting a slightly better class A shield of a higher tier than the max your ship can support.

So a cobra could have an equivalent of a 5A+ instead of 4A

You are spot on with that.
Which means you will use more power (the new shields use a lot more) which may be a game breaker for the Cobra of less size ships, also the Vulture- but i`d have to run the sims on it to see what it looks like fully kitted out- either way it`d be a real handful!

It also make for an interesting theory craft for the new imperial eagle- as it has a larger power plant (apparently).. fun times ahead.

All my ships now relocated to WAQ Fischer Orbital.

A prismatic shield would take a Clipper and give it shields only 60MJ less than the best Python build I have, but with better armour and jump range!

As discussed Sneaky, lets just make sure you, Arithon and I support our group members in moving home port. It might be easy for some but a struggle for others. We have to work as a team. Cheers, Bert
