ptracker - AIRIO-like app for Assetto Corsa

Hi racers -

I just want to inform you about a useful app for Assetto Corsa called ptracker. For the people knowing LFS: This is kind of an AIRIO-style lap and session tracker. It has the following features:

1. Display current lap status with respect to your personal best.

The information from left to right: live delta to pb, valid/invalid lap, split delta to pb, sector delta to best sector time ever, connection to stracker (see below), session time left

2. Display a leaderboard of qualification and races. In the image above, I'm alone on the server. It also displays the fastest lap of the race.

3. Display lap time statistics of our server.

Above you can see the best lap time statistics of the last combo (and I have to say: I like this a lot ). The information available is dependent on whether the players run ptracker or not (Seany and I did in the last combo). Our server runs the necessary service "stracker" to provide this information (thanks to Whitey who made this possible!).

4. You can send setups between players in-game. The green "connection icon" will become a yellow, you can click on it and decide to save the setups you received.

5. The app is fully customizable in game, so if you don't like a part of it, you probably can disable the corresponding display.

6. You can also store a set in the database, so members of DMR have access to it (this is possible starting with the 2.5.x version).

7. Since 2.7.x a shortcut based chat feature similar to LFS is implemented in ptracker. (Alt+T starts talking, number pad numbers 1-9 send shortcuts, numlock has to be enabled)

Does stracker record lap times for those too who hasn't got the ptracker? I would assume so that ptracker is just needed for viewing the laptimes.

Yes it records also these times, though there is some more information for the times driven with ptracker installed (you can see this in the screenshots above). Also the send setup feature is only available with ptracker installed.

I've updated the direct download link in the OP to version 2.3.5 (this version is now the latest stable version). The update is not required, but it brings some goodies, most noticable: the lap times of ptracker are now accurate when connected to an stracker server.

If anyone's encountering problematic behaviour on the server, you can search for the player's GUID after clicking on the 'players' tab (this is needed to add players to the blacklist).
