Ummm yep tried all those things you suggested

I do have the NIC sharing irq 11 with GF card but taking the NIC out makes no difference.

I bin doing a bit of research around on MadOnion's site and I noticed that most ppls 3dmark score with exact same equipment were very similar to my own (4800 odd) (my GF2 used to give me 1600) and I believe I have tracked the problem down to a seriously flawed MotherBoard  8O

I have Biostar M6VCG MOBO and from what I've found seraching around on the web etc.. It's gotta be the WORST MOBO ever made  :x

It seems to have serious problems with AGP 4x and ACPI so I guess I gotta go on the hunt for a new MOBO.

Anyone recommend a decent Socket 370 MOBO that takes 133 sdram, most of the ones I've seen now all take PC2100 or better, but i don't wanna have to buy new Dimms if I can help it  :?

AGP 4x is a bit hit or miss. Can you drop the card to AGP 2x? You prob won't notice much difference.

I have a reasonable MBoard in my server. It is Tyan Trinity 400. It can take slot 1 or socket 370 and supports 133 SDRAM (I have a Gig fitted using 2 x 512Mb chips)

I got it from Maplins in case you have trouble finding it.
