Cutlass Black - Weapon Loadout Problem (Any thoughts or advice welcome)

Hi Folks,

If anyone can offer any insight or advice it would be most welcome...

Since I'm currently flying the Cutlass Black solo I thought I would take the opportunity to change the weapon loadout.

Original Loadout:
1 x Centre Line Mount (Under Cockpit) = Size 1-3 Gun = CF-117 Badger Repeater (Class 2)
2 x Wing Mounts = Size 1-3 Gun = Suckerpunch Distortion Cannon (Class 1)
2 x Turrent Mounts = Size 3 Gun = 11-Series Broadsword (Class 3)

My problem with the original loadout is that flying solo mean't that the turret was unmanned, so my two "big" guns (the 11-Series Broadswords) were useless.

Since the Suckerpunch Distortion Cannons were not designed to kill targets but rather than disabling them I thought I would remove them from the wing mounts and replace them with the (currently turret mounted) 11-Series Broadsword weapons.

Proposed Loadout:
1 x Center Line Mount (Under Cockpit) = Size 1-3 Gun = CF-117 Badger Repeater (Class 2)
2 x Wing Mounts = Size 1-3 Gun = 11-Series Broadsword (Class 3)
2 x Turret Mounts = Size 3 Gun = None mounted

So far so good.  All the numbers check out in game, and on the SC website.  The problem is when I get the ship into combat only the CF-117 Badger Repeater works and the two wing mounted 11-Series Broadsword refuse to fire.

I've tried this loadout in EA Drone "Swarm", and 2.5 "Open World" Crusader "Missions" but cannot get the 11-Series Broadsword to work.

Hopefully I'm missing something really obvious, because I'm seriously getting tired of the Cutlass & think of paying a little bit more and "upgrading" to a Freelancer or Freelancer Dur.

That would be my first guess too.

Ive never swapped around ballistic weapons, but I think for each one there is an associated ammo box, and although you've moved the guns from the turret to the wings, I think you also need to move the associated ammo boxes as well.

Ok.  I've tried going to the Cryostat stations to re-arm with no luck.

I've tried the EA Drone Missions, where I assume they would start me fully armed because there is no where to get rearmed, and no luck.

The Ammo Box theory intrigued me.  Is the ammo box "built into the gun", or is it a separate thing I need to move after relocating the gun?  If it is separate how do I move it because I cannot see any "Blue" dots that designated something on the ship I can change.

I think it's a separate component that has to be "fitted" in the same way the guns are?

After doing some research I've discussed that it is a ballistic ammo bug. When you remove a ballistic weapon it loses its ammo box, becoming useless.  You need to re-attached to its original location in the Hanger option to re-attached the ammo box.

THAT bug is still there? I thought they fixed it in 2.5? Obviously not. Answer use non ballistic weapons I guess.
