We can do one via Cromwell for about £8 per head iirc.   I had a voicemail from Belinda just before I went on holiday and it slipped my mind until now.

I think we need a pow-wow to check where we are at in terms of planning so we know when we are going to book what.

Anyone around on TS tonight or later this week?

Followed up with Belinda today, she had gone home at 2.00pm so I just missed her.   Will try again to get hog roast confirmed for Thursday dinner.

Strike three on the contacting Belinda front.   Tried three times but they forgot to tell me that on a Friday she goes home at 1.00pm, so I missed her again grrr!    Will try again on Monday.

Belinda is going back to book the hog roast chap and confirm prices (it depends on smallest hog size etc).   She'll get date and price confirmed this week.  Hog man will deliver the food and the OC will add the buns, coleslaw, salads etc.

Confirmed at £8 per head and the OC have booked it with the hog roast firm.

They'll cook up their smallest hog which serves 80 people, but OC pay the hog roaster, so we should be ok to run approx 60 people through it at £8/head and have some surplus food and no extra bill.

We have 41 booked in for the hog roast now, so our maximum exposure should be about £72.   This is lower than the expenditure figure in the Master Fees spreadsheet, so our out-turn should be better than projected.

And that was rubbish.   The hog roast was based on 80 not 50, so the LAN will have a net out-turn of about -£100, but OTOH we should have plenty of pork left over.

Communication over time and nothing in writing.    Chasing Belinda on the telephone and interpreting what she said as one thing, and she meaning another.   It's annoying, but it is not a problem, already talked to Pen about it.
