Beta is up for anyone who pre-ordered through steam so give it a try and let us know what you think dudes, I sure will be!
It's listed in your library as a seperate game called DEATHWING BETA or something to that effect, only 4GB to download.

Gave it a go, felt a little like Titan Fall but slower. It ran very well, no performance issues on Max settings. A mini-learning curve needed to master the holographic menus but I think it will be fun.

Ditto. Felt laboured and slow. Not in a bad way as I think it suits. I was surprised to see the inclusion was the strategic menu. With everyone playing things so quickly, I didn't expect them to bring the 'table top' aspect into this version of Spacehulk. I can definitely see some small unit tactics happening. Quite excited now.

Glad to see that the Developers are not afraid to hold back the game for extra polish and fixes. Concerned to see that they are unwilling to release any review copies.

Definitely one to wait and see on.

This is either one way or the other. They want it to be a surprise and are trying to wait off on it. Or... they're expecting it to be a bust.

So the reviews are in and Steam says "mixed".

In a nutshell if you were hoping or Alien Isolation in the Warhammer Universe then sorry you're getting Left 4 Dead in space without the humour.

L4D2 was fun for a while but I'll pass on this. The Beta was very much like L4D2 when you get puked on by a Boomer, with no real skill involved just mad button mashing till either you or the horde of Aliens (zombies)were dead.

I'm finding it totally different to L4D personally. It's got a richer story and isn't as chaotic. I like.
