Hi Folks,

Some of you may know I've been pushing Naval Action on our forums trying to interest other dMw players in obtaining a Beta license.

Given I've succeeded in convincing nobody, here's another futile effort to get people into Naval games.

This time, Star Citizen multi-person crew style battles:

Yes, $19 US. If we have 4 peoples interest I can buy the $59 option and get all the earlier rewards for everyone and save a bit compared to all buying separately.

For a very limited time they have reopened for backers on their website.

This is so they can get more people for the Alpha testing weekends, which are quite fun. They only open up the servers on specific weekends for testing so this is not currently 24/7.

It's a ticket/ship destruction based game, re-enforcement waves (respawn times) can be up to a minute depending on when you die. It comes down to ticket loss to avoid battles lasting forever, but a few good broadsides can sink the enemy especially if you are killing them before they can repair and pump out the water.

They've also introduced supplies, so you can use up the gunpowder/projectiles in front of you and more has to be brought from the magazine.

Check out some of the videos on their site and the more recent ones on YouTube as the game has changed significantly since pre-aplha, in the last  few weeks they have been running multi-ship battles with 3v3 ships and  this is why they need more testers.
