I was looking forward to this, seems it's no Planet Coaster with Dinosaurs :sad:

I think they rushed this in a big way. Probably used most of Planet Coaster's environment but you can't replace coaster building mechanics with farming and breeding and make it as fun.

It probably lacks some content to bring it up to a level where people find more than grind in it.

As some more reviews come in it seems it's not dreadful but not outstanding either. For avid woreld builders who love to micro manage their worlds/cities/parks etc. and control every little aspect of their design and construction then Evolution is probably a complete dud. But for those who enjoy scenarios/career mode and their built in challenges then the game might be more appealing.

It's averaging 75/100 on Metacritic, which suggests it's and OK game. I just don't spend nearly £50 on something that's just OK. £29.99 maybe but £44.99 is too much.
