Whitey

I've had Hive for a while and it's great, lots of schedule options and being able to control the heating from my phone or watch is really handy (if a little bit lazy).  The only down side for me is that it goes through the 4 AAA batteries quite quickly (they last 3-6 months). If you have any specific questions then just shout.

Had a new worcester-bosch boiler put in during our renovations (don't recall if we choose it or if it was chosen by contractor) and previous was also WB. Seem to work well enough with a decent warranty support (had heat exchange panel thing replaced free - suspect builder mis-treatment rather than just London hard water).

Can't help with hive as have manufacturer system. All I'd say is check up on any potential security issues if you plan to make your heating controllable remotely...:flirty:

Does a WB boiler come with a smart meter Tobs? Our place in Farnham needs a new one and they quoted a 18Kw Greenstar. £2667 plus VAT. £335 plus VAT to add a new hot water tank. Fitting and pipework included.
Cheers, Bert

No mate its a combi boiler so it is just the unit and the filters and magnets.  And a wall mounted thermostats.  I refuse to have a smart meter installed, my mic died but I am getting a new one tomorrow if you want to chat about what I was quoted.  Or PM me

I just got a quote for WB boiler for a rental and it was £2650 including Magna Clean and new programmer and room stat..... that included vat. Just thought a comparison would be handy. It's only a small 2-up 2-down house though and they didn't quote the model so it may be smaller than yours.
