Couple of screen shots from the Pre-Alpha. No textures yet on anything but it's quite easy to fly around, warp, land on a planet.

Not many people online so haven't actually had a fight yet.

This is now on Early Access on Steam and is gathering decent momentum and player numbers. It's a team moba style game with capture locations and various tasks to perform to enhance your chances of overwhelming the other team.

Then add space ships and 100 people. They have a bit of good thing going instance wise and their netcode is pretty amazing. I know how bad it was to begin with but that's what happened since we kickstarted this.

I played the last few weekends and there are dozens of players in Epic battles. It's not just a login and die situation as sensible players can pick their battles carefully. Oh and mouse and keyboard are perfectly fine for this game, not fancy hardware needed.

It is a little pricey. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1079620/Infinity_Battlescape/?snr=1_7_15__13

BotherTobious and Albert both own it so far.

Quote from: smilodon;421352I've thrown far too much money at one particular Space MMO already. But when this fully launches, hopefully in September I can see myself buying it retail.

Apparently we can host our own servers which could be fun.

It dropped in September!!!!! 2019 LOL

Man, this looks so cool, but why just combat!
Love is the one thing that transcends time and space.

That was always the scope of the game

They did plan for more but as Smilo points out they bit off more than they could chew so will settle for massive battles and see how things go.
