The Gleamite Meteor Shower event has to be experienced for the audio and visuals alone! You hear it before you see it and with decent headphones it's farily easy to work out it's trajectory. But don't get too close as those hunks from the explosion can hit you hard.

Hot tip is to goto each settlement every day and get a present from the big tree, 150rep and goodies. Walking rather than fast travelling also nets a goodly amount of lost presents.
Another tip is to carry a ranged wep to shoot presents floating in the air for 25rep and 20 presents!
