It is not unusual to split up the team beween different routes to the same target. Coordinating the attack have become easier with voice communication but sometimes lag and comms breaking up, these attacks can be timed incorrectly. By using the built in round timer, which shows the same time for everyone, we can correct for any lag delays the voicecomms could cause.

Picking the time is if importance and should be considered carefully. Times like x.30 and x.00 (x being any minute on the timer) should be avoided because they are rather obvious. x.15 and x.45 are a bit better but is the second most obvious choice.

Breaking it down to every full 10 seconds is a slight improvement. If doing so use x.10 and x.40 rather than x.20 and x.50. Why? Because people when waiting for something tend to be more focused closer to the expected time x.00 and x.30 i.e. before those times occur and hence relax once the timer have passed that event because they think that danger has passed. Same should be considered if using attack times such as x.07 and x.57.

When picking a time always write it out in tsay to avoid any misunderstandings, especially when there are more and more non-uk members on our servers. It will be easier for them to understand us and vice versa. One could also consider picking something that is easy to remember e.g. 3.57, 2.42, 1.11 etc.

Good luck,

As an alternative to a tsay of the time; you can also have everyone agree to hold off the attack until whoever's calling the play issues the "Go Go Go!" radio command.

The last time I checked, radio commands don't lag, and are (generally) understood by all players.

True but all need to be in place by then. It is easier just to set a time and each player can take their time to get in place.
