Not everybodies cup of tea granted ...but went to see Priest at Brum NEC Sat night ........Scorpions supported ...a couple of the guys I was with had just bought the tickets for possibly the last chance to see Scorpions live in this country

...and were questioning Priests managements decision to get such a high profile group to be their support act after they delivered a superb performance  <_<

They were also claiming that Priest would have to do something really special to top The Scorpions performance ......(granted they did put on a really good show)  :)

Then after a flawless 2 hour show from Priest that included many of the old classics and lots of light/stage effects they had to admit just who are still "THE METAL GODS"    ;)

If you are into this genre of music ........go see them ..ya just don't know how much longer these guys can keep these type of performances up !!!!!

Good to know.. I've got tickets for their March 31st show in Portsmouth.

Rabbi Bob

I caught Halford on his Resurection tour, along with Queensryche and headling Iron Maiden.  Halford owned the stage when he was up and I can only imagine that JP was that much better than Halford on his own.  Maiden was amazing with all three guitarists, Bruce at the helm, Niko (sp?) (with age-laden love handles nicely hidden behind the drumkit) thundering along and of course... Eddie (this incarnation was Wickerman Eddie).

Good to see the older troops still putting out good metal performances.
