I bumped into Smite the other day on Kalimdor the other day and then again about an hour later in Ironforge.  In the same area I then noticed DA and Jobok loitering with intent.  All three of them were in the same Guild (aka clan) and this got me thinking - which Guild is everyone in and what are the strengthes or weaknesses of your Guild?

My guild is Dragonblades - it's a small guild with about 15 members mainly in the L35-40 range although about 4 are in the L20-25 range.  It's a nice friendly group of people who actually work as a team and party up whenever possible to help eveveryone get through their red/orange and yellow quests for maximum xp.

Smite, DA, Jobok and I believe JAS are all members of Lords of Azeroth - what are they like?

Who else is a member of a guild?  Which one?  What are they like?

Do we have sufficient number of players on same side to have a dMw Guild or would this even be worth doing at all?

Tbh I am not sure that the guild thing is thought through from Blizzard. You play with players that have around the same level as yourself anyway. Mixing high and low level usually benefits none except for completion of a quest i.e. a high level helping out a low level. However, I am sure it is not help but a loss as the low level player will be "cheated" of XP from all the kills leading up to the goal of the quest.

The only positive side of a guild in my eyes would be sharing of profession goods (alchemy, lw, enchanting etc) and loaning money.

Atm I see no reason to create a dMw guild as ppl are spread out on many different servers and with both horde and allience.

That was kind of my thought too, but I thought I would ask.  The benefit for me of being in a Guild is as you suggested the sharing of skills and the ability to play with people your own level whom you know will not go AWOL when trying to complete a team quest.  Which Guild are you in Sadako?  Tell us a little about it........
