Don't know if it is any good but there has been a free Star Wars film released. I have downloaded the DVD ISO image with BitTorrent but haven't burned the DVD yet.

You can get it here (choose one of the downloads which takes you to another page from which you can download the DVD ISO's or the WMV/MOV version).

PS This link is unashamedly nicked from the HiV forums ;)

Just watched it.

Wow! Surprisingly good.

OK the acting is a bit dodgy in places but the special effects are very good (especially the space chase through the shipyard). There are a couple of areas where it is slightly tricky to follow due to a slighlty indistinct soundtrack but I guess if I watched it again I'd pick up what was said.

All in all, pretty damn good for a free film made on no budget. I've seen much worse that cost millions :D

Just say this post had not seen this, for a fan film this is great v well done. Worth a look great effects :)
