Honey Mooning

We thought about doing a long haul to the caribbean for our honeymoon but decided to go short haul and ended up going to the island of Capri of the Amalfi coastline.

A. after the wedding we were both knacked and therefore glad not to go long haul
B. it's beautiful and it's very romantic.

FWIW, we stayed at the Capri Palace Hotel and loved it - the luxury combined with the superb spa was bliss.

It was a good few years back but even then it was something like £400 per night.

I was there last week, nice scenery etc, but I'd personally pick abroad for Honeymooning
